Dog Grooming Services at Dakin

Dakin began offering dog grooming in Springfield in 2019. We recently celebrated our 200th client!
 
Dogs 45 pounds and under are welcome and must have a current rabies vaccination certificate for appointments. (Tags or other documentation will not be accepted.) Dogs are also required to be up to date on distemper and parvo vaccines.

Grooming Packages

Full package:

Starts at $45

Includes: bath, dry, haircut, ear cleaning, and nail/pad/sanitary trim

Bath package:

Starts at $30 - short coats only

Includes: bath, dry, ear cleaning, and nail/pad/sanitary trim

Meet Carol - Dakin's Dog Groomer

Carol began her grooming career in 2008, following 27 years in the insurance industry. She has also worked as an Animal Care Specialist for two years at a Southern California shelter.  Carol has opened her home to foster cats and kittens in Southern California as well as with Dakin. She has been a volunteer groomer for Dakin for two years and loves giving both shelter animals and pets a fresh outlook. Carol generously donates 50% of all grooming proceeds to support Dakin's programs and services.

Due to COVID-19, we require pet parents to remain outside the building during grooming appointments.
