Steve Lewis Subaru Supports Dakin

“Eighty percent of Steve Lewis Subaru clients are pet parents. We are a pet-friendly dealership, so we are very lucky to see many of our four-legged customers each day,” says Project Manager Tracy Stearns of Steve Lewis Subaru.

The Hadley car dealership recently held a “Steve Lewis Subaru Loves Pets!” contest to raise funds for Dakin Humane Society. During the month of January, people were invited to post photos of their pets on the dealership’s Facebook page, and each post would yield $1 for Dakin. In addition, the photo that gained the most “likes” earned a prize for that pet’s person. The winning photo was of Bombur, a dog who was photographed happily enjoying a car ride. His person is Danielle Julia.

On Friday, February 17, General Manager Joe Clark and Project Manager Tracy Stearns of Steve Lewis Subaru presented a check for $1,113 to Dakin’s Executive Director Carmine DiCenso at our Leverett Adoption Center in recognition of the 1,113 photos posted to the Facebook page. Joe and Tracy had a great visit and especially enjoyed cuddling with Allie, a dog who was adopted later that weekend.

Tracy adds, “We chose to support Dakin's missions because our customers are supported by Dakin programs and all of us at Steve Lewis Subaru are truly passionate about animal welfare.”
