Community Spay/Neuter Clinic Welcomes 100,000th Patient

Dakin’s Community Spay/Neuter Clinic welcomed its 100,000th patient in late March when Sadie, a 5-year-old beagle who lives with her people Christina and Dave in Chicopee, came in for surgery.

Christina and Dave had been trying to get her spayed elsewhere but the wait was too long, and she was fighting an infection. They had been to Dakin previously and were impressed with how the staff handled Sadie, so they booked an appointment. They were thrilled to hear their girl was the 100,000th patient, and Sadie was pleased to receive a gift basket filled with toys and treats.

Spectrum News 1 was on hand to cover the milestone event.  Here’s a link to their story.
