Kayla Begnoche has earned her Associate's in General Studies and is continuing her education in Strategic Human Resource Management. She will be sitting for the SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification exam.

Kayla joined the Dakin team in 2015 as Administrative Assistant when she met a Dakin staff member at her local dog park and found out about an amazing opportunity. Kayla already knew about her strong passion for animal welfare and found her other passion for human resources while working at Dakin. In 2020, Kayla assumed the role of Human Resources Coordinator, then moved into her current role as Human Resources Manager in 2021.

With Kayla’s expertise, she possesses a deep understanding of HR best practices, policies, and strategies. She has successfully managed HR functions such as payroll administration, recruitment and staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR policy development.

Kayla is passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, where individuals feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. She is dedicated to creating policies and practices that promote equity, fairness, and compassion for others.
